Production of Two Kinds of Gas-oils , As Burning and Engine Fuels

Abstract

Gas oil for different application of engine fuel and heating oil shall have the required specifications for such application. Currently in Iran, Gas oil is produced and distributed according to an old standard of NIORDC.
In this research, the possibility of production of two different gas oil by separation of existing gas oil from Tehran Refinery to two fractions is investigated. All required tests and physico-chemical properties have been measured and the suitability of fractions for two application of engine and heating oil are proven.
