One of the new and influential technologies in the oil industry that is growing rapidly is the smartization of oil wells and, more broadly, the smartization of reservoirs and oil fields. Therefore, smart well technology is used to optimally control production. Smartization of oil and gas wells is considered one of the most important recent achievements in the oil and gas industry. With the advancement of technology and the development of smart oil wells and reservoirs, cybersecurity has become a critical challenge. For the implementation and data collection of the framework related to the variables and information of this research, it is taken from the doctoral thesis and the article of Raisi et al. (1402). This framework uses a combination of the performance of SHA-256 cryptographic algorithms for hashing, which is one of the most famous cryptographic hash functions in the world, and AES for data encryption. The implementation of this solution is done using Python, and the security of communications between blockchain blocks is optimized to manage sensitive data and prevent cyber attacks. The main goal of the research is "Implementing secure IoT communications in smart wells using blockchain mechanisms in the oil and gas industry of the National Southern Oilfields Company". In this research, attention will be paid to how blockchain is used to ensure data security and maintain the integrity of information sent from IoT devices (such as sensors and nodes).
